Is it just me, or is that "during his career here" language a bit odd...

either they had an MRI and it was inconclusive due to swelling or they have yet to actually do the MRI.  Sounds like they don't know what the prognosis is at this point.  Hopefully it turns out to be something they can treat without surgery. *fingers crossed*

Sounds like a partial tear of the ACL.  This type of injury may or may not respond to physical therapy (depending on the stability of the knee).  There is hope, but I'm guessing we won't know much more than this for several weeks.

Best of health Chris.

Slap a brace on him and get him out there!

Just kidding.  Good luck, Chris.  Get healthy.

Should Coach Williams refer to his high career, or make observations in the context of the three years CO has been at Marquette?  It would appear to be you  :)

When Wade was a sophomore he missed one game because of a knee injury. Does anybody remember what the injury was?

Obviously any comment Buzz makes is going to be about his experience with Otule as a whole. That is why it is odd to mention Otule's "career" at all. Buzz could have conveyed the same exact message by saying, "I know that Chris has put in a lot of hard work over the last three years."

All I was pointing out is that Buzz chose a very odd phrasing that people don't typically use unless something dramatic has happened.

The knee may allow him to play but ACLs don't heal.  They don't get any blood flow, so if there is a tear of any kind above a sprain it will require surgery, when is the ultimate question
"A Plan? Oh man, I hate plans. That means were gonna have to do stuff. Can't we just have a strategy......or a mission statement."
