I know it's a boring nickname, but when i watch the kid, the thing that comes to my mind is smooth.

He doesn't have the sick athletic ability of a DJO, but there is just a smooth feel to his game and how he carries himself IMO.

For a freshman who wasn't say a 5-star big time recruit, Mayo has pretty much shocked me in how mature he plays already. How confident he plays. A lot of freshman not only can look at least a bit overwhelmed on the court sometimes, they often ca be afraid to varying degrees to put up shots in key spots out of deference to teammates and fear of angering the coach if the shot misses.

Todd though plays and carries himself on the court more like a junior or senior than a kid playing in only his 8th college game.
