One of the more open heisman races in some time, so just looking to get some friendly debate going. If you had a vote, who would it be?

JWags85

Robert Griffin III has shown up the biggest in the most important games they've played.  He's been impressive all year and just because he isn't on a BCS contender shouldn't change that.  Luck has been decent but disappeared at times and is only here based on name alone.  Monte Ball has a decent argument but Wilson has been just as important there.

RG3 gets my vote and I hope many others as well.

Since Houston's loss pretty much rules Case Keenum out, I'm going for Luck

nyg

I voted Griffin since he was the best player, but I believe he will come in third behind either Luck or Richardson.

MerrittsMustache

I'd vote for Griffin.

I think Richardson will win.

I fear Luck will win despite the fact that the one could make a solid argument he wasn't even the best QB in his conference.

I went with RG3. I think that Ball's stats are impressive, but I hold his line and Ron Dayne against him. I also think that Wisco's line is better relative to their competition than is Bama's line relative to theirs. From what I've seen Richardson is a better RB, but I just can't vote for him given the huge disparity between his and Ball's stats. So for me, they cancel each other out.
I think that Luck is a much better traditional (easy...) pro style QB than RG3, but RG3 had some great stats and really put an only decent Baylor team on his back to win some games. Given his stats and his performances in lifting that team up, I'm going with Griffin.

GGGG

I am happy for Ball that he got into the final five, but there is zero chance he wins.  Dayne's was more of a career award.  His freshman year was actually better than his senior year numbers wise, but UW had a terrible defense that year and completely underperformed.

Michael Vick had a phenominal year the year that Dayne won the award.

I know the award doesn't mean "best future pro", but Mathieu is going to be an absolute stud in the NFL. Not saying Luck/Richardson, etc won't be, but man is that kid good.

And to think, Mathieu isn't even the best defensive back on the LSU team, that would be Morris Claiborne.

That entire LSU secondary is NFL starter ready, no question about it.
