MU only has one WNBA prospect, Chicago's own 6-2 F Christina Quaye. Averaged 16 ppg this past year.

Ya think she'll get drafted?

No point in me voting after the fact so I'll just comment.  I was hopeful Quaye would get drafted in the 3rd round but if I'd had to guess I would have said she wouldn't get drafted.  I would have loved to have been wrong but she didn't get drafted.  I wouldn't be surprised if she gets invited to a camp as a free agent.  Of course that may impact her impending graduation from MU.  I was hoping she'd end up with the Chicago Sky who are playing an exhibition game at the Al on Fri. May 4th.

Abbie Willenborg remains the only MU player to be drafted in the WNBA and she was the last pick of the 2000 draft. Willenborg went to the Comets' camp but was cut before the season started.  I wish Quaye luck but I think Krystal Ellis is probably the player most likely to be the first MU alum to make a WNBA team - that would be in 2009...
