Can you customize with our favorite Buzzism's?

While the Beaver quote is good, some of us with militant-feminist UW co-workers (redundancy, sorry) may not want to chance bringing that into a work setting.

While the Beaver quote is certainly up for interpretation, we believe Buzz is referring to players, when he speaks of Beavers. However, if the next 20 people suggest their favorite Buzz quote that doesn't have militant-feminist connotations, we'll select one at random and ship'em a free mug.

That's the best we can do in terms of customization (and shield ourselves from fanatical Bucky fans).

see, thats the kind of insane anti-thinking stuff i hate. I absolutely hate it/ what matters is your work ethic, your skills, your ability to play the game. random preferences like cracked sidewalks or combo meals is just an awful way to go about recruiting, and i'd be floored if these criteria were used as anything but an absolute last resort tie breaker by ANY MU coach.

I think the thought behind it is that recruits who come from more difficult backgrounds are more prone to fight and scrap harder for every opportunity.  The work ethic that Buzz demands of the players is not normal for an 18-20 year old kid...especially a kid with a solid backup option. 

It is a Sun Tzu philosophy - an enemy with a means of escape will not fight with the courage of despair.
