Just a whole bunch of interesting graphs on what Title IX has done for women's sports, and to men's sports.

Title IX is a terrible law.  Supporting women's athletics is a great thing, but we're past the point where it needs to come at the expense of men's athletics (and I would contend that we were never at that point).  Just look at the charts showing how devastating it has been to Wrestling and Men's Gymnastics teams.  It very much needs to be fixed in a way that supports women without punishing men.

I don't know if I go as far as terrible. I'd say well-intentioned by very poorly executed. The solution is reasonably simple I believe. Exempt sports where there is an exact/pretty similar counterpart for both men and women. No women's football, so that shouldn't count. The men's and women's basketball teams get the same amount of support from the school, and both have the right to compete for $ beyond that in the marketplace.
