Pint Touches aka MU BeerClub
« on: November 15, 2011, 03:41:06 PM »
I am ripping the title from Anonymous Eagle, but I like what he does on the blog.  I think we should pick a beer of the game ahead of time, more so for away games, but also for those folks watching home games from home. Alternatively we could just pick Beer of the Month or Week and discuss!

The current beer thread seems to be rambling along so I thought I'd start a fresh discussion too.

Any good seasonal beers out there right now? I picked up a Shock Top pumpkin wheat yday @ Metro Market, yet to be tried.  Does anyone have a good beer like they like for Thanksgiving time?

Spaten Oktoberfest is on tap at the Knights Bar.

Great before the game.  Not a Micro but yummy with a pretzel and mustard.

why isnt this in the other beer thread again?  ?-( i thought it was kind of cool to have a thread with 30+ pages of beer wisdom.

All true, however, I wanted to see how they did pumpkin, as I am an equal-opportunist for pumpkin beers.  I will let you know. But generally I do not take up Anheusers either ;)

I love Matilda and the entire Reserve Series of beers from Goose (Sofie, Pere Jacques, etc.). But, I think we should merge this into the other beer thread, keep things unified. No need to splinter.
