I'm really looking forward to seeing how Otule manages O'Quinn. This is one of the better big men we'll see in the non-conference, certainly until we get to the Vanderbilt game. Should also be a good test for Gardner, to see if he can defend. The Otule/Gardner minute split tonight should be interesting.

I look at inversely.   How will DG do when matched up against a decent center.   We know what CO can do from last year and can reasonably extrapolate what he will do this year.    How DG defends will determine how much PT he gets.

Vander B. is looking so much better this year.  He doesn't even look like the same cat as last year.

Some sketchy calls really took the momentum away but Vander was having his way sexually with their defense. That was great body control and an easy lay-in that he got the charge against him for.

Hahaha...but truth though, Vander is NICE!  He's distributing very well, already has at least 4 assists (should have had another but Crowder fumbled it) and man...we would have made SportCenter's Top 10 if he had finished off of that pretty bounce pass.

We're doing MUCH better preventing offensive rebounds, and we're still very stifling on defense.

We are doing some really dumb things offensively shot wise and not handling passes but not bad overall. Vander looks good besides the botched layup, and his charge was bs. Jae is solid but took some dumb shots and real messed up that pass from vander at the end.

Loving the defense once again though. This team likes to chuck it, and our d is pretty much making it so thats all they can do.

MU made two, yes two outside shots.  One by Jones and one by Crowder and both were threes.  Not one other make, either a two or a three.  

I am sure Buzz is giving them an ear-full now and expect a blowout in second half.
