Got this in an email today:

Prices are pretty steep .. I think I'll probably get travel on my own .. I'm curious about ticket availablity, though, as I thought I'd read it was a tough ticket to get.

My wife and I are likely to attend....also travelling on our own.

My girlfriend and I are planning on it.  Have a friend stationed at Pearl, so that gives some extra incentive.  Been putting away $100/month for the trip.

From what I have read tickets are VERY tough to get. Buddy of mine went last year with MSU and he said the only way to really ensure tickets is through the University. I think the gym only holds something like 3k or 4k fans. I am going to try and make it, depends on when I move though.  ???

D@mn with some of those prices that must mean you started saving as early as 2002 for the trip.  :D

Hawaii in general is very expensive.  RT from the midwest is around $1000pp, perhaps more like $1500 during Thanksgiving.  A decent hotel is, minimum, $250/night, and easily $400 over the holidays.

It adds up quickly. -- But .. Hawaii is just awesome.
