Depaul:

Macari Brooks (NCAA clearinghouse)
Tony Freeland (Season Ending Injury)
Montray Clemons (Season Ending Injury)

...and their top recruit decided to stay closer to home.  Rivalry aside, I genuinely feel bad for Purnell...he takes 2 steps forward, 5 steps back...

According to the Chicago Tribune, Macari Brooks left DePaul because he was not eligible to play this season or NEXT season.  Its definitely going to be prep school, JUCO or NAIA for Macari.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

St. Johns-

Everyone

It looks like this year at St. John's is going to be a rerun of Crean's first year at Indiana.

For what it's worth, St. John's is working to get the three suspended top-100 freshmen eligible by the end of December. Who knows if that will work out or not. Also out for the year...

Providence -- Kiwi Gardner (Academically ineligible)
Rutgers -- Kadeem Jack (Injury)

And injured for the short term...

UConn -- Andre Drummond (Broken nose, should play early)
Louisville -- Rakeem Buckles (Will likely miss a few weeks)
Pitt -- Nasir Robinson (Out a few weeks)
