50%?    Really?      Harvard of the Midwest, my a$$.     91% for MU.    So, is that just Wade?

Time to shove this in all the Bucky fans face who say we accept academically questionable players, and only care about winning.

Did Mo Acker graduate?

Did Lazar and Jimmy come back and finish up?

Article quotes GSR rates of 2001-2004.

I think Blankson & Mason qualify in that time span, and I don't know how GSR treats transfers.

Article quotes GSR rates of 2001-2004.

Article quotes GSR rates for players arriving from 2001-2004, then allowing six years to graduate.  So it should be accurate for all players who should have graduated from 2005-2010.

Don't forget that the ones who do graduate are often, literally, "agricultural journalist" majors. Marquette can't afford to spend taxpayer dollars funding fake majors like UW, so you know MU athlethes will have a harder time graduating, which makes the MU feat all the more impressive.

I think if they transfer in good standing they don't count against us, or that may be APR.

This is one where I don't mind if UW gets a little extra press than us, although I feel MU should get some recognition for having two very high rates. Just seeing the players on twitter it seems like they are in study hall as much or more than they are in practice. It is good to see Marquette's commitment to education is showing up in the numbers as well.

When the players list their schedule for the day, it usually includes at least 2 different study halls. Granted, this might mean that all this means is that they are scheduled to be in the study room in the AMC for that stretch, but given how full their schedules are, I presume they're all smart enough to actually study.

You're right.  MU fans shouldn't care when UW claims to be a fine academic institution, calls our players thugish, and pat themselves on the back when they fail because Bo only accepts good students... and thats why his recruiting is mediocre.

What a joke.

I usually agree with PRN's sentiment, but I must admit, with all the talking UW fans do about our players and our program, this made me smile.

But surely just setting foot on the Harvard of the Midwest's campus is a superior academic experience to attaining an actual degree from a place like Marquette.
