I hate Simeon.  they've beaten my high school in the state championship twice.  Once Taylor graduates and comes here I'll root for him

I would love for one of those juniors to decide to follow Taylor to MU.

It's hard to argue the benefits of opening a pipeline directly to Simeon.

It would be huge to get strong hold at Simeon. Hate them or not they always have some of the states best talent

Agreed; again, you could do a lot worse than recruiting/getting the best ballers from the Chicago area.  Some serious talent in that league.

It'd be cool to get Jabari.  For a while I was thinking along the lines of--Who needs a one and done?-- but since those guys only seem to go to the top programs, It would be nice to get us on the map that way.  As long as the coaches don't have to spend most of their recruiting time going after one player for one year.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

There was some kid out of Simeon a few years ago named Derrick Rose. He was pretty good, ranked in the top 20 in his class, but not at the very top. A lot of scouts said he was a 1/2 tweener. Anyone know whatever happened to him? I hope he was able to shed that tweener label.

I wonder if Jabari's Mormon faith will take him to BYU.

Does explain why so many of their athletes end up married by the end of their eligibility.

And people complain about the WI weather being tough to overcome when recruiting...
