Interesting news out of Chicago.  Did Texas A&M conference realignment effect his commitment?  Any chance Buzz tries to go after Steve's Point guard (29th best prospect in Class of 2013)?

Missed out on York and Dunn.  Hmmmmm...

GGGG

That is very interesting.  2013 is probably when we are going to need another PG recruit too...

No mention of MU interest, but you can never tell.  Come on Steve, have a nice talk with your teamate.

aaaahhhh....every thing sounds great here except for the simple fact that Nunn is not a PG!!

DOH!

Shouldn't be too hard to get a Nunn to a Jesuit university.  HEY-O!

Nunn seems like a DJO jr though..

wow ... the DJO resemblence is uncanny!

Dunks with the wrong hand, though.  But yeah...a lot of similarity in the way he moves and plays.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

No MU interest may very well have been due to the fact that he was committed to another school.  I don't think Buzz recruits players who have made verbals elsewhere.  More likely though, Buzz is looking to use his only remaining (at this point) 2013 scholarship on a point guard.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

MU offers Nunn, according to the Illinois Prep Bullseye Twitter:

WOW that is awesome ...this kid is really good.  the Pangos camp that he attended compared him to Jerel Mcneal.  DJO and Mc Neal comparisons are pretty nice.

This kid is a potential Mcdonalds all-american and a USA u-16 national team player.  Consensus is Mu will go for a point but with Wilson and TJ Taylor on board we may be able to not sign a PG until 2014.  We will all know how capable Wislosn is at the PG here in a few weeks.  My guess is based on everything I have read and heard is that Wilson and Taylor a re pretty damn good PG's

LOVE hearing this news.  Why don't we just grab Jabari while we're at it, and be Simeon North.

You could do WAY worse than getting top notch ballers from the Chicago area.

jsglow

He'd be a great get.  If Illinois and DePaul are the competition (among others), I like our chances.  Having his running mate already committed can't hurt.  Man I'd love to dominate Chicago recruiting.  Remember Kendrick, your folks can easily get to games.  I drive up from Chicago all the time.

MattyWarrior

When Simeon had there open practice and he saw all the props his teammates were gettin',he prolly changed his mind about
going all the way to Texas A&M and gettin little exposure compared to the midwest. Plus his family can see him play.

bamamarquettefan

Yeah- Texas a and m now offers play in a weak basketball conference, but one that you still probably can never win (Kentucky, then add vNdy and bama this year).
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).
