It's like a cult.  Getting schools to leave their conferences in the middle of the night.

Seriously though, I have always viewed college football as just something to do (watch) on Saturdays, until basketball starts.  I don't know if I can bring myself to watch it anymore.  These football schools make me sick to my stomach.

Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

A warrior is an empowered and compassionate protector of others.

Agreed 100%.  I stopped watching last year with all the bs going on.  This year just makes it permanent.

I think this has the potential to backfire on the networks.  They're paying more and more money, but I can't see the overall added value with this.  I can't see any of this increasing the number of college football viewers.  If someone was already a fan of a school, they were already a viewer.  But there are a lot of casual fans that watched games of mild interest.  A lot of people are really getting screwed over by all of this, and I think a lot of them will hold a grudge and be permanently turned off to the sport.  There's a superior alternative (NFL) to satisfy the casual football fan.
