Anyone have any good recommendations for places to drink, eat, drink, watch games, drink, drink, eat, or drink in or about the downtown Kansas City area Saturday through Tuesday?  Or any insight into any events going on in that time frame (other than the CBE games of course)?

I'll be there (with rocky) during that time - anyone else for sure gonna be around?

I wish I could say I'd be there for sure, but its going to depend on if we make it to the Championship game or not. I've got class Monday, so I can't make it out for the semifinals, but if we make it to the championship, hopefully against Duke, then I'm going to roadtrip with a few of my buddies out to KC for the game. I'm really excited, I sure hope it works out!

You would blow off a road trip for a class?  Come on man...work out a deal with your teacher or have your 9th Grandparent of the semester go into rehab or something!  The real world requires quick thinking in a proactive way...be a leader for you and your friends.  Go Warriors!

I don't want to drive 9 hours for a semifinal game, thats what I'm saying. Driving to KC on a student budget and resources is not easy, but a championship game v. Duke is worth it. Plus we have to find a place to stay, I'm not made of money.

than using a good Jesuit education as an alibi.  Maybe you go to the TT game and get about 10 guys to split a room outside of town.  If not, bourbon and the backseat of the car can work in a pinch!  This is the time to blow things off and go....soon other things will stop you cold.

Speaking of which...KC is a no-go for you?

That's what a 4 and 6 year old can do for your road trips.

I COULD respond with:
You would blow off a road trip for a couple of kids?  Come on man...work out a deal with your wife or have your 9th work project of the year go into crisis mode or something!  The real world requires quick thinking in a proactive way...be a leader for you and your friends.  Go Warriors!

But I won't  ;D
Will we be seeing you at the Louisville/Villanova games in January?  hope you can make it - last year was a great time.. and I don't think I have quite mastered the dice thing yet..  8)

I would already be in KC to visit my 9th grandparent in the rehab center located across the street from the arena.  I will be in Milwaukee for the double dip and you will master that dice thing.  The moral of this story is.......Go to the game before you are stopped cold!

spiral97

we'll drink one for ya in KC man.. glad to hear you'll be there in January - looking forward to it!
