I am guessing you are either alone on this Island or there are very few along with you.  It sure seemed pretty obvious that it was a sarcastic article.  I guess the writer could have written it in teal for you.

The article looked like it came right from The Onion.
It is the title that makes me think it is not being sarcastic, Reading the article alone does not do anything to me. The title of the article labels her a moron. If he was being sarcastic, maybe he should of referred to board members as moron's instead of the questioner.  I will admit I often miss sarcasism. I tend to read things literally and I am not in the habit of guessing who is saying what they mean and who is trying to be funny. Often to recognize sarcasm, you have to know the writer's personality, and I do not know the writers on this board. Since I do not know the writers, I genrally do not look at the posters names.

To understand and appreciate sarcasm, it often begins with the title.  The ending gave it away, if nothing else.  Awkward silence after admitting no one thought it through, ending with chants of "SEC, SEC ..."

Yeah, if the chants of "SEC" don't give it away, I don't know what possibly could. Maybe had the writer put the whole thing in teal?
