maybe it's an ohio state thing, but he's got some 'splainin to do.  probably an apology and rehab.  seriously, this is really a bummer as he is a hero around these parts.  i wish him better days

That junk coulda happened to probably any of us when we were college-aged. 

Oh, wait...he's 28.  Well, at least he wasn't driving.

Jim Rome had a pretty funny rant on this. I don't have a link (I think you have to subscribe for his radio shows to stream online). Anyway, he started it off by making the distinction of "going ham," as in, "going hard" or "going ridiculously crazy/intense at something," to "going Hamm," [pronounced "haum"] as in being a drunk jerk.
