If you watched the GT-UNC game, you heard the announcers talk about the finish of the Barton-Winona State game.  I've posted the final 3 minutes on the blog.  Entertaining stuff.

For folks who didn't see it, it was very reminiscent of the end of the 2001 Duke at Maryland game. Winona did about seven things wrong in succession, missed a front end and the first of two on free throws, didn't get three stops, fouled on one of the makes, turned the ball over on an in-bounds pass, and turned the ball over while trying to run it up the floor at the end. Winona had won 57 in a row and won the title a year ago, longest D2 streak in history, trying to become first to go back-to-back at D2 in quite a while and first to go undefeated as the D2 champ in quite a while. Winona has a couple of players, their center Smith (junior), and their point guard Malvik, who seem to be possibilities to play somewhere after college, probably in a minor league or in Europe. Malvik is from Holmen, same conference as Christopherson. Roster also includes former Madison-area preps Jonte Flowers (brother of Michael Flowers) and Quincy Henderson.
