I was watching the end of the Duke (1 seed) vs Rutgers (4) seed in womans basketball today.  Rutgers won 52-52 when a dukie missed 2 fts with .1 seconds remaining.  When the game ended, the girl who missed lay on the floor and all her teammates came and supported her.  Meanwhile the coach barely looked at her team and practically ran to the locker room.

It was a long way from Freddy Brown and John Thompson.

Get out--that is absolute bunk!!    No offense to the rumor mongerers, but I mean, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time--considering Crean allegedly wouldn't even share his plane with the MU women when they were BOTH flying out to Georgetown this season and playing at the SAME time . . . sorry, TC definitely doesn't give fem-ball its deserved respect, and I'm willing to bet money that Terri Mitchell would go kill him in his sleep if he even considered the notion (03-04, MU vs Duke in women's NCAA 2nd round . . .).

Of course, if in a parallel universe it happened, I would very much enjoy a TC--Terri Mitchell matchup. yowza!
