That is hard to say. He definately picked the wrong school, because
Syracuse signed several more highly rated bigmen after him. The question is whether he would of played at MU, if he had come here instead?

muball

He may have done well at MU under Buzz pushing him and our style who knows as we were short of Bigs and he might of had more opportunity and grown as a player.  Wish the kid well

He might play this season.

I hope he can play. Eastern Michigan is coming to the Cell this season.

Highly doubt that he'll get to play.  His grandparents have health issues?  They are flippin grandparents.

Pretty insensitive remark considering you don't know anything about his background. His grandparents may have been instrumental in his upbringing. Who knows? He definitely didn't pan out for Syracuse, but maybe being back home may be good for him.

I wish him well.

Not insensitive at all.  What is ridiculous is your claim that I don't know anything about his background - you don't know what I know.

My comment was based on the likelihood of a waiver being granted in this situation - which is highly unlikely.  That's based on a lot of information and knowledge I have.  I also wish him well, but that doesn't mean it isn't highly unlikely he'll be playing this coming season.

Fab Melo was arrested last week for attempting to beat up his girlfriend

Riley is leaving

Not a good June for fans of Syracuse big men.

Who was it that Otule over powered to lay in two against Syracuse in the Sweet 16?  Then the baby swatted the ball.  What a great moment for Otule. Should definitely be on his highlight film.

That was Fab Melo, should have been T'd up.

Warrior Forever

This is a case of a kid not getting playing time at the 'Cuse, returning home (he played high school ball at powerhouse, Detroit Country Day) and playing for an assistant he knew from Syracuse.

Go Warriors.

Was the Round of 32 Game, Marquette played UNC in the Sweet Sixteen.  And yes, Melo should have gotten a T, especially after Crowder got a T a few plays before (the ref's had set a precedent that they weren't going to put up with any BS).

When did Otule get his technical for hanging on the rim? Big East tournament, Xavier or Syracuse?
