I hate both of them, but I find myself rooting for Pearl.  Makes me feel sick, but tO$u is worse

Think Boy Bruce entered the night 5-3 in NCAA games and boy did his team come to play tonight. talk about eye of the tiger. they look absolutely zoned in.

Love Crean but talk about a contrast between our post-season game-face and these guys.

Probably helps to have everyone healthy for the game and the fact that they've already played Ohio State. Much easier to game plan with those two elements.

State is going to make a game of this.

How come there are so many empty seats?

Given that it's San Antonio, I would guess there was probably a large contingent of Texas A&M fans disappointed with the outcome of the early game.

Now, if a Tom Crean club blew a 20 point lead in a NCAA game I can only imagine what would follow.

I'll leave it at that.  The necklace is a good coach but he's still a pig and if you play with pig you will get awfully muddy.

Bruce looked like a genius when his team was in an unbelievable zone in the first half. Then his team went cold, he sat there and saved his timeouts while Ohio State went on a 22-7 run to get back in the game. Idiotic coaching job.

Hard to blow a 20 point lead when you can only score 18/half.

I love the posters who like to slyly indicate they have secret information about coaches.    You're so in the know Chicos.  I hope a reporter doesn't talk to you about Pearl because you could take Bruce Pearl down.  Give me a break.

As they used to say on the old Ballentine beer commercials.... Beeeeeauuuuteeeful!  Pearl was ordained in the J-S and USA Today yesterday as the new great college coach.  And his team gags a 20 point lead.  Now he'll have time to go paint his body and drum up some publicity at the women's tourny game.  When do Brucie's recruits begin playing at that fine Rocky Top academic institution?

Tony, I love you.

He wouldn't need to talk to me, he could talk to about 50 people if he was worth his salt.  Great gag job last night..if only the Pearl had on the Orange coat on I think he could have prevented the tank job.

Bruce Pearl is scumbag phony, but it's hard to argue with his results. He took UWM(!) to the Sweet 16 for God's sakes and returned there with Tennessee. He also won a D2 national championship. I don't like him, but he's a great coach.

PRN...pretty much my thoughts exactly...very good coach and that's where the compliments end.

Tony....UT had a 20 point lead 0.1 seconds left in the first half....then it was gag city.

I love you too.
Didn't say it wasn't a gag job.  Should you criticize a coach who's team looked completely disorganized, didn't score a point for 8 minutes, scored 18 in one half, was completely outcoached to a point where the opposing coach clearly called off the dogs because of their friendship  and who lost to a higher seed.    Or a coach who made the sweet 16, beat a 4 seed on the way and with far less talent put one helluva scare into a #1 seed.  I'm no Bruce Pearl fan but the guy can coach.  Your constant need to defend Crean regardless of the topic, bring up your bigs versus guards argument with no prompting, and continual name dropping is endearing to me.
