Apparently, Tom Crean is such a good coach he can win a conference that his school isn't even a member of at the time.  I assume the poster didn't just remember that Creans team won a conference in 2003 and assumed it was the Big East.  They had to look it up yet still didn't realize they were not in the Big East then?  C'mon man, read the whole sentence!

Here, today, there was only one thread on Buzz rumors to Tx AM, and less than ten posts since 7pm for you to read, to see if you were first to see Zwernemans twit.
Whether you simply blew off reading those ten, or merely were excited over the desire to begin a new thread...the result was to put a two way fork in a single road followed by the others. As etiquette goes, it requires mods do extra work they shouldnt have to see if the new one needs merging...and all those posting all day long...have a needlessly new thread to read. In the world of experienced posting, yours is a little 'look at me over here, in my new separate thread'. Those already on the point in the other thread were your audience, and its best to join, read and post on point. The trick is not to have to read all postings...but at least review thread titles, and those posts in threads very similar to your "new" point.
We arent Twitter, where ones immediate random thoughts, or news are cause for a new thread. It linear, and you were asked to get in line, for the benefit/consideration of others. no biggie--but you deserved an explanation..assuming you were actually being courteous and apologetic, of course.

Sheesh, houwarrior. Have a bad day? You're typically one of the more level-headed posters on here. Surprised to see this type of post from you. Cut the kid some slack. Personally, I liked seeing a thread titled "Buzz staying put."

Dear Emily Post(aka houwarrior), I do sincerely apologize to everyone else on this board who will never get back the minute it took to read your ridiculous rantings and ravings about "posting etiquette".  I suggest a healthier outlet for your negative energy.  A good run or bike ride would help you dial it down a notch(or 5). 

To all the other fans of MU out there, I think this is a great day with Buzz turning down another potential suitor.  We are in good shape for several years.

I enjoy houwarrior's insights and he might be a respected, long-time poster but he still overreacted and got all holier-than-thou.
