Marquette's W Soccer team has one of the top signing classes in the country, the Big East powerhouse welcomes in nine new additions for 2011 - Who has the womens top signing class?

Interesting...why are their club teams mentioned and not their high schools?

Exactly. I have raised/coached my daughter through the girls soccer ranks, to Div 1. The club coaches, teams, private trainers, etc. are light years ahead of the HS ranks, in girls soccer. A local elite club, a few years back, placed 21, of 23 possible, into div 1 programs, with full schollys (Title IX--TYVM).
This is the true yardstick, and it looks like MU is breaking into a higher level, historically dominated by ND, UNC, etc.
Nice news.
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Looks like the Men's side did pretty well for themselves too, lots of international talent. One of these guys is 6'7"! - Global Flavor in Freshman Class

Wow... 6-7 center half. He will be a huge weapon coming up from the back on set pieces.

I hope they can make a run this year. Would be a shame to have a player like Mallace never play in the postseason. Really enjoy watching him.

Add him as a walk-on to the hoops team ala Marcus West!
