Dr. Blackheart

Blogger Dan Hanner will be breaking down college hoops in the upcoming weeks. For his first pass, he simply looked at the impact of the loss of graduating seniors on the upcoming season. Subsequent updates will look at losses due to early entries, the value of incoming recruits, and the player development under coaches.

Based on this first pass. MU racks up 8th in the Big East. Obviously, with Wilson redshirting this season, MU is undervalued in this scenario. However, Notre Dame has three Super Seniors returning, and everybody but Knowles is scheduled to return to UL. UCONN is still very young, but this scenario still assumes Walker is returning--although Napier is ready to step in to the PG slot if Kemba declares.

The remaining factors all should play in MU's favor, pending any developing circumstances. More to come to keep us debating in the down period.

One note, I4 is expected to move up from the cellar to 8th based solely on experience as Crean's first recruiting class hits senior year.

...but if they don't, TC will be on the hot seat.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
