I wouldn't even mind getting a big man this year and TJ Taylor next year.  DJO and Blue can probably handle the ball in an absolute emergency.

Though getting Taylor at any point would be huge.

Blue I could see, I don't want DJO running the point. He's the kind of guy who wouldn't pass if he was going 85 in a 25, he'd just drive in for contact. No way do I want him running the offense. My best case scenario would be BJ Young this year (if he decommits from Arkansas) and Jarnell Stokes next year. If we could pull that off, I'd be expecting a Final Four by no later than 2014.

We need a point guard that can score. The days of PG playing good D and getting assists only are gone. I like Jr. but he is a liability on O if paired with O'Toule and Blue. Cannot have 60% of players on the court incapable of scoring.
Disagree that it is imperative that a PG must be a scorer. Having said that, Jr. should average 8 to 10 points per game next year, and at minimum 6 assists per game. Let the others score: DJO 18ppg; Crowder 13plus; Wilson 10; Otule/Gardnner 12-14; bench 15. That gives us about 78 per game.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Agreed. All Junior needs to do is develop a 12 foot jumper to go along with his current driving ability to keep the defenses honest. And of that bench, I expect 10-12 of that to be Blue. Though with Williams and Jones also on the bench, I think we'll have plenty of scoring.

Stokes definitely works for me!  That would be a new level of recruit for us.

I think Buzz should focus on surrounding the core of Blue, Wilson, Cadougan, Anderson, and Jones with complementary players.  Mayo might be the shooter off the bench we need.  Another PG and another big would add depth to make sure those core guys can do their thing.  Those core guys are Buzz's first true group and it be great if we have a full balanced team around them.

Willie--Agreed on PG scoring. As season progressed Jr. looked more confident and agressive. My point only is that he has to be able to pull the trigger when opportunity presents itself.

Blackhat

If we can't get a stud 6'9" enforcer (which is probable) than I'm all about TJ Taylor.  Dude has a smooth lefty j.  Need shooting.  Have slashers.
