Never again can UNC use the 1977 loss to get motivated for a  MU game.

Maybe UNC can  mark the win with a banner "2011 2nd place NCAA East Regional", and hang it next to the "1977 NCAA 2nd Place", banner.

Actually, we'll have to hope they win it all, this year, to ease the blowout sting.

I greatly enjoyed this year, losing to a storied program such as UNC, is soooo much easier, than say a loss to Morehead state. lol

So the "North Carolina Curse" continues.  Don't know the exact numbers, but MU has a horrible record against teams from NC since that 1977 win. 

I don't think we have beaten UNC since 1977. 

Also, remember that loss against ECU in 2003.  I still ask myself how that happened.  Must have been the curse.

It's true we haven't lost EVERY game to NC teams since 1977, but our record is pretty horrible.
