David Rose, and BYU, are a nice tourney story, too

Coach Rose, 53,  turned around a program and has survived Pancreatic cancer, a very very high percentage killer.

As the former Co-Captain of Phi Slamma Jamma at UH, it would be very special for him, and for Houston, to have him here as a final four coach.

Before we zing BYU over the player suspension (due to an honor code violation--ie sex with girlfriend), why not note their rallying, as a team since, including a 20 pt drubbing of Gonzaga.

You need not share the religion, the honor code views, or be a fan....but IMO, they are a nice side story, meriting of respect, and good wishes..
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

David Rose to OU.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
