Dude can recruit apparently...and he has plenty of New England ties...probably not a bad hire.

The more I learned about Keno, his 1 year at Drake with his father's players the more I realized PC made an error. Yeah he was the coach of the year, but those were not his players. When his players came into PC it became quickly apparent that he wasn't the guy. Cooley seems like a great hire, that program needs a makeover

Will Aki Collins join his former boss as an assistant or could he be a candidate at Fairfield?

I go to a handful of Fairfield games each year as I live close by and sometimes I need a live fix of college hoops.  Cooley is the polar opposite of Davis.  His teams play great defense and are very sketchy on offense.  He's done a great job at Fairfield and is a good recruiter at that level.  Was an assistant at BC and had a rep as a good recruiter when he was hired at Fairfield.

He also has been very open about his situation.  When he was asked about Providence a couple weeks ago he said, "They haven't contacted me yet, but if they did I would have to listen."  He long maintained that he would leave Fairfield only for a job in one of the Big 6 conferences and was good to his word, I guess.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Take Benford,   Aki is a stud.. I'd hate to lose him.

You're looking nice and psychic right now...

Quote from: Adam Zagoria TwitterTwo possible names at Fairfield are Marquette assistant Aki Collins, a former Cooley assistant, and UConn assistant Andre LaFleur.

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
