Tried getting the team hotel in Newark (Renaissance-Airport) but it's already sold out.

Anybody familiar with the area have some other, reasonably priced suggestions?

Thanks!

Coleman

You could always stay in NYC. Might be pricier but you'd get to enjoy the city, instead of being in Newark. Pretty sure its easy to get to via train

Courtyard Newark Liberty International Airport, you can get though Anthony Travels 866-913-7166. Close to team hotel.

Big Daddy Z

Courtyard & Renaissance in Lynhurst, NJ. About 10 miles from airport. Great area with numerous bars & eating places in Rutherford & Lynhurst

There are some pretty nice hotels and restaurants in Jersey City where the Newport PATH station is.  I have stayed at a Marriott (Courtyard I think) there several times when my company is too cheap to get us all a hotel in Manhattan.

This area is home to a lot of back end offices for Wall Street...also some very nice highrise residential towers on the river -- and close to Hoboken (Washington Street), Manhattan and Newark.  Very short cab or train ride to either Hoboken or Newark...and the PATH takes you right to Penn Station in the city.

Hoboken is the best bet here.  A taste of New York without having to cross the hudson, plenty to do there and explore.  And a quick train ride to Newark.
