I voted for at Pitt since it was probably the biggest win of the year and an overtime thriller. Duke was a huge win too.
Other memorable games:
vs. Detroit -Less than 24 hours after laying an egg and really lucking out to beat Idaho State in overtime, we came out gunning, making everything and winning by 42.
vs. Texas Tech -Wesley Matthews dominant, building up a comfortable first half lead against Bobby Knight and maintaining it like a veteran team throughout the second half.
at Uconn -Just when many thought we would struggle to make the Big East tournament we beat a ranked Uconn team and snapped their home winning streak.
vs. West Virginia -Beating our second ranked team in a row and finally figuring out a zone with an impressive offense and great shooting display.
Some memorable moments (feel free to add your own):
James -18 in a row to end the Valpo game, including the game-winner at the buzzer; making 3's and drawing the foul in overtime during the Pitt game.
McNeal -The steal and buzzer-beater at USF; the many times when the offense went stagnant and he carried the team, often driving through undrivable zones.
Matthews -Earning Coach Knights respect with his dominant performance against Texas Tech, also drawing charges on the defensive end.
Barro -Dominance against Northwestern State with 21 and 13. Also sparking the Uconn win with 17 and 13.
Kinsella -The 2 unforgettable 3-pointers against Pitt.
