Yes, I'm really enjoying this moment, however, I'm greedy and want MU to make the Elite 8 and continue this incredible ride. What kind of a chance do you people realistically give MU against UNC?

Goose

I think the chances are actually quite good. Sometimes teams get hot at the right time and it appears MU fall into that group. Trust me this is not wishful thinking. Far funnier things have happened.

By the way, I fall into the greedy camp as well. Sweet 16's do not happen every year and it is important to be greedy. I hope Buzz and the boys are more than greedy.

Kenpom gives us a 36% chance at victory.  Slightly better than Kenpom's predicted probibility of victory against Syracuse.

I will be surprised if they win, but by no means shocked. I think that 36% chance is about how I feel about it.

MU has shown all season long that they wont back down to anyone.  They played Duke tough when Duke was still 100% and considered by many THE BEST team in the country.  Couple that with the fact the UNCs defense is supsect to say the least and I give MU a legit shot.  Im just not sure MU can stop UNC either.

Exactly... whenever you have a shadow of a doubt against UNC, you just gotta remember that we hung with Duke.

I agree with this.  After watching the UNC/UW game yesterday, I think we'll be able to score against their defense.  The problem is if we can keep them from scoring more.

Our defense has been great the last two games for us (after being our biggest concern for most of the year).  Hopefully that continues.

Based on the way this team has played this year (really, the last two), I'd be shocked if, at worst, we weren't at least in a position to make a move for a win at the end of this game.  Then it just depends on how the ball bounces.
