Hey, just to let any of the students out there on the site know, I can only speak for myself, but there is actually a few of us in the new jersey, new york area.  Got a house in suburban jersey, so if any of you traveling students need a free place to stay if your traveling out for the game, feel free to come to casa de kipsbay if you need a place to stay.

That might be awesome. I am a grad from '10 and I am trying to get tickets and head down from Providence. Thanks for the offer so far!

Tough to say for sure, but given that games will be played in Newark and San Antonio, I'd be willing to bet that MU/UNC is the first game to tip off that night, which would mean about 6:30 (Central).

Game time just posted on ESPN. 6:15 in Milwaukee

CBS' lead announcing team of Jim Nantz and Clark Kellogg will call  the East Region in Newark, N.J., with North Carolina meeting Marquette at 6:15 p.m. and Ohio State facing Kentucky at 8:45 p.m.

The good news is that we are in the sweet 16.    The bad news is that it is in Newark.   Do you know one good thing about playing in Newark?   Me, neither.    The winner gets to go to the Elite 8.    The loser gets to go home.   Maybe you are better off losing.       Thanks, I'm in town all week.   Try the veal.

I would say that the Seton Hall fans would likely cheer for us over UNC.  As would UK and OSU fans.

Fullodds

Hopefully the Seton Hall fans stay home.

I'll be there +1

If your're going, it is really easy to take a train from Penn Station to Newark (18 min ride) and the price is $5 per person.  Walking distance to the stadium from Newark train station.  Stay in NYC.

To the board: I may have a couple extra tickets from the University, so let me know how serious everyone is about going to the game. And coming from Chicago, with last minute flights, I would REALLY appreciate a place to stay that wouldn't be as expensive as the hotels. A PM would be an ideal way to communicate so we can work out some details

I live in Jersey and get what your saying, but the Rock is a great venue.... and Manhattan is only a 10 minute train ride away.

Agreed.  I hope Bradley Center 2.0 (if it ever happens) will be like Prudential.
