For those not watching:

Buzz's opening statement

We tried to be way too pretty first 6-7 min. We're not talented enough; I'm not a good enough coach to play like that. Last seven minutes we were much more active, playing harder, tougher. In the second half, I thought we were OK. At times our energy level was really good. Even when it was poor we were able to hang in there. When chris got in foul trouble, we haad no choice other than to play small. I'm sure if we lost that was what your questions would be about. Jae did a great job on 0. I thought when DJ went to trap the post he was really good, when to go and when to come back. Those last three minutes we played really well.

Stressed cuse's second chance points against the small lineup (only 2), transition points (only 4), and the FT disparity.

Sorry man - I hopped off talk hoops with my kid brother. It was on CBS College Sports Network. They have been doing look-ins on each of the press conferences. 2 min here, then a minute there.

QUESTION in PC

Something about a JUCO who is a little older willing to take a charge moreso than a younger kid or kids that have been blue chips all the way?

BUZZ - "I think that is stereotypical, I don't say that to be mean. So much is made of where our kids went to school prior to MU, maybe that matters, maybe thats a story that can be written. I think the story is the resolve of who they are as competitors and the character of who they are as people. I do kind of have an edge about that, not to take it out on you. I kind of have an edge, like let's not just completely stereotype that its a rag-tag group of JUCs because I'm right in that group too except i never went to a di school. the first time i was ever on a division 1 campus is when I was employed. Does that mean because of their heritage or their plight to MU it trends toward do they take more charges? I think it speaks to who their resolve as competitors and character as people."

INAUDIBLE FOLLOW UP QUESTION-perhaps related to why the guys went the JUCO route.

BUZZ - "I don't think it is because of their academic transcripts. It's the road less traveled. Two roads diverged in a wood. Those three guys (Jimmy, Jae and DJO) and myself. We took the road less traveled. Robert Frost."

A giant F you from Buzz to all the JUCO critics. I love it! Thanks to Jimmy, Joe, Dwight, DJO and Jae for working your asses off to get to MU then working even harder after you got here!

Just like I have, the road less traveled, two roads that diverged in the woods. Those three guys and myself, we took the road less traveled, Robert Frost
