I would be pissed off for a little while that he left after previously stating "he would stay at MU for as long as they would have him". I mean isn't that lying or not?
You don't think people change? How many times have I heard a guy say he's lucky to be with a girl and will be around her as long as she keeps him around. Then break up 2 years later. What was Buzz suppose to say?

I just don't think it would be very smart to bolt from MU after 3 years for OU so I would hold it against him.  Sure its in Oklahoma and its warmer.  Is that a big deal for a guy who will make over 7 figures at a school with a winning program in the best college BBall conference in the nation.  In the past we've always heard that ultimately the best coaches would want to go where you had a chance to win a National Title year in and year out.  Is OU that kind of situation. Heck No!
If Buzz is smart he continues to build MU.  Then in 5 more years or so if he really wants a change in weather he looks for a premo job like Texas or Kansas or Florida or NC to open up.  Those are jobs where you can expect your recruiting to take that next step.  OU isn't anywhere near that level and the pressure to try to get them there is likely what to their troubles with the NCAA.

Maybe Pakuni was a student manager for Majerus?  Perhaps Pakuni was a teenager that went to Majeru's b-ball camp was sat and farted upon?

Freud would call this post "projecting."

Yeah, I thought there would only be a few upset. How dare Buzz leave MU?

I'm surprised with the high number of people that would hold it against him. Hard to get angry at someone if they decide another opportunity is a better one. I can see thinking that person made mistake but not hold it against him.

People believe their school is the deal and they value loyalty.  My suspicion is if Buzz were to leave there is a significant crowd that would say you quite New Orleans after just one year, we hired you as an assistant then handed the keys to the city to you after only one year with our program...then you bolt after 3 years despite saying you wouldn't.

I suspect there is a lot of that going on when people vote.
