Every time I watch that shot, it looks GOOD as it leave his hand.

What do you guys think?
The "average fan" is an idiot.

In regards to the question, hitting a half-court buzzer-beater to win the national championship for a mid-major Cinderella and in doing so knocking off one of the most storied programs in NCAA history would absolutely be the best shot in NCAA history. When they aired March Madness commercials in the future, you know the ones, with all the buzzer-beaters and late drama, that shot would have been shown as the final shot in every commercial in the future ever. In fact, you could probably just replay it over and over for 30 seconds and it'd be better than the ones they show now.

But it bounced out. So meh.

How close Hayward was to actually making that shot is still incredible...and was even more incredible when SportScience broke it down: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQs-d_9iJ14
