this shellacking we took from msu tonight is further evidence that without an inside presence, we suck. if tom crean has failed this program in any way its that post-2003, he continues to be unable to recruit a big man of any significance. our committed recruits coming in next year and the year after that are further evidence of that. assuming everyone comes back next year, we will have no depth at the 4 and 5 positions. ousmane, burke, and mbakwe...that's it. lazar or fitz will probably start at the 4 next year, but they would be far more effective on both ends of the floor if they played on the wing consistently. two years ago we didn't have enough guards and now we have too many. we need an inside presence so that all our guards can be more effective.

The post season magic of Izzo continues after tonight....but really, who wouldn't attack Barro and get MU's only post threat out of the game in the FIRST 2 MINUTES!!!  Not to "pile on" but what did the coaching staff see in Burke, Lott, Kinsella, Trend...etc??  They are/were all projects as was Barro.  You can't have a roster full of post projects and expect to win at such a high level of competition.  If anything, tonight was a compliment to the fact that a "handicapped" MU somehow found a way to win a lot of games this season.

next year we will have Mbakwe, Saunders, & Hazel who I think will battle Ooze for minutes.  After the Alabama game, Ooze was a major dispointment this year.  I don't think it's size we need as much as stud athletes from top to bottom of the roster... ie no more Lott, Burke, Kinsella, etc.

What are you talking about?  We have Dwight Burke coming back.  He was awesome tonight.  Look at that line!  Next year we'll have Christopherson who is almost 6', Maurice Acker who is 5' 2", DJ 5' 9" and Cubillan who is 5' 10".  We can field a team in the USBL!

how big is Trevor??

6'8" but there were some stories that he was still growing.  He's a big time stud athlete with size and height.  Top 100 player I believe.  I'm sure others here can give a much better description of his abilities and projections.
