There is no doubt that we had a nice win at UCONN, but still we have 11 losses.  That is a lot of losses to be a top 25 team.  Not to mention, UCONN is tied with 5 teams for 7th(-11th) place in the Big East.  Not trying to downplay the win but we aren't deserving of a top 25 vote in my opinion.

Does it really matter if MU is ranked in the top 20-25?

To me, all that matters is that Marquette makes the NCAA Tournament and then is playing it's best basketball as the regular season ends.

Hopefully Junior and Otule can keep up their improved play and if so, it at least opens up the possibility of the team playing it's best ball at the most important time of the year.
