UWM to NIT?

I would watch them play in the NIT if they make it? They probably should make it right?

as regular season champs of the horizon they are guaranteed a spot in the nit if they lose in the conf. tourney. i think i am actually going to check out some horizon league tournament games at the cell. should be some entertaining hoops.
But I like to throw handfuls...

According to Lunardi, they're a 15th seed in the dance.

For smaller conferences, Lunardi takes the team in first place in their conference assuming they will get the auto bid in the conference tournament.

It's good to hear the Panthers might make the NCAA Tourney.  Great news for their program!!

Joe Lunardi has both the Panthers and our Golden Eagles playing in chicago!  One can only hope this would stay true, ROAD TRIP!!

Games on Friday @ the Cell:

Game 1: #3 Cleveland State vs. #6 Wright State (5 pm)
Game 2: #4 Valparaiso vs. #5 Detroit (7:30 pm)

Saturday games@ the Cell:

#1 Milwaukee vs. Winner of Game 2 (5 pm)
#2 Butler vs. Winner of Game 1 (7:30 pm)

The championship game will then be played Tuesday night at the venue of the highest seed remaining.  I am hopefully going to go hit up the tournament as well on Friday and possibly Saturday.  Horizon league has a pretty deep league this year (1-4) at least.  Valpo led the league most of the way and choked going 1-3 in the last 4 conference games.  Watched them on ESPN2 against Mizz St and it looks like fun basketball to watch.  Norris Cole (Cleveland St) dropped 40 pts/20+ boards in a game this season and Butler...well it is Butler.  Detroit as a freshman Ray McCallum, who was a McDonald's All-American, dad is the coach.  Should be fun, so if your bored might as well come out and watch.  I mean the chances of UWM selling out non-UWM games is very, very slim.
