New Jersey Nets must be feeling miserable after three back to back defeats in a week; first they lost against New York Knick on February 12, then against San Antonio on February 14 and their recent defeat was on Wednesday 16 against Boston Celtics. NJN seems to be in the worst phase of their playing history as over a couple of months they have lost countless games and had very few wins.  NJN plays in the Atlantic division of the Eastern Conference and their recent failure against Celtics was disappointing as they missed their chance to win the first game of this season against another Atlantic Division opponent.
New Jersey Nets holds the best record of winning most home games i.e. 17 out of 22; however their last home win was a year back on March 29, 2010, while their recent home defeat is against San Antonio Spurs on February 14, 2011 and they will again face Spurs in their next home game on February 25. Their other home games at the Prudential Center in Newark are against Phoenix on February 28 followed by another home game on March 9 against Golden State.
And here comes the story of most recent development in the trade involving Denver Nuggets player Carmelo Anthony. Both teams were in talks over Carmelo and according to sources Melo could meet Nets president owner Mikhail Prokhorov over the All Star game Weekend in Los Angeles. However according to Friday, 18 February news both teams have approved the deal and Melo has been accepted by the NJN for a three year $65 million extension. NJN won Melo over their biggest rival, Knicks, who were trying to get Carmelo at any cost. There are also rumors of Carmelo’s meeting with Knicks owner James Dolan over the All-Star weekend.
Nets would also have to release Derrick Favors, Devin Harris, Ben Uzoh, Murphy and four first-round picks to Denver in exchange for Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Sheldon Williams, Melvin Ely and Renaldo Blackman from the Nuggets. However deal is still on halt as Net would sign the trade only if Melo agrees to sign a three year contract with NJN and this could be settled down in the Melo- Mikhail meeting.
Only few days or hours are left and the All-Star break is coming closer and New Jersey Nets have some of the best player in hand like Devin Harris, Kris Humphries, Sasha Vujacic and Jordan Farmar and these players all payers are playing exceptionally well for Net and if Melo joins them it would definitely speed up their restructuring. Buy cheap New Jersey Nets ticketsto enjoy all the games live in stadium.

Hold the frackin' phone here.  Live?  In a stadium?  My head just exploded.

What about an arena?  Or a center, or field house, or garden?  Holy cr@p!!!

And uh, Devin Harris no longer plays for the Nets.

Clearly spam.

I think Prokhorov had a little too much vodka after landing Deron and somehow ended up here.

You guys are too funny.  I'd delete this, but the comedy is worth it.  It is superbar material though...

I love how Vujacic makes it for their "best players"

Wasn't it Nets tickets last year that you could get for like 49 cents?  Just pure awesome.
