So with Gonzaga showing up this week, that means every team to whom MU is lost is currently projected to make the NCAA, with 10 of 11 currently ranked in the Top 25. I continue to find it difficult to be too upset with the way this season has gone. With a decent finish, they will most assuredly get into the tournament.

Yeah, I would agree to a certain degree, but eventually if we want to make any strides we have to beat these teams because year in and year out in the Big East a lot of our schedule will be top 25 teams.  So it will get old saying, 'yeah, but 10 of our losses were against really good teams.'

I called them a lock because if they get to 9-9 they will be in, and two of the games are home games against Iowa and Indiana. Of course, if they lose out, they will not get in.
I didn't say they'd lose out, but they'll definitely lose @Purdue and @Ohio State, and IU has already beaten them and Iowa can surprise teams, see MSU game. If they lose three of four and are a one and done in the Big Ten tourney, Weber's is sweating and this team is NIT-bound again.

Disagree!  What is important to any basketball team?  The NCAA Tournament.  The more times you are in consecutively the better.  Also who assumes it is a guaranteed loss.  Most upsets are the 5-12 or 6-11 variety.  See last year.
Emphatic +1. The tourney is always a good thing for recruiting and revenue.

I'm still waiting to find out what the red type means.

I'm still trying to figure out what cannon foddler is.

Warrior farls, I've been wondering the same thing but using context clues I realized it's a simple spelling error. He keeps meaning to say cannon fondler.

Agreed. I'm just marking them down for those 2 wins and that's why I'm calling them a lock. If they finish under .500 they are in trouble
