Men's/Women's Back-to-Back Games
« on: February 20, 2011, 04:23:48 PM »
Earlier today was the Men's tOSU at Purdue game.  Now I see that the women's tOSU at Purdue game is on ESPN2.

Does MU do this with the men's and women's teams?  Back back-to-back in the BC against the same team?  (or should I ask how often do they do it?)

No they don't do that and I'm glad they don't.  The Al is a great place for the Women's games and is a perfect size for them.  I hated when the Women's team would have games at the BC pre-Al days (they'd play there sometimes when they couldn't get the Arena).  And I don't think it would help the crowd size that much for the Women so I think it's good to keep playing at the Al.  The Women did play one game at the BC in 2007 or 2008 but it wasn't a doubleheader with the Men - it was scheduled there b/c volleyball was hosting the BE Tourney at the Al that day.
