As the year has been going, Kemba has seemed like the frontrunner.

But, it really sounded like Dwight Hardy from SJU took over the game yesterday at Pitt. He sure lit us up on Tuesday.

Who will be POY, is it Walker hands down? Who are the other dark horses that could play well and beat him out, especially with a solid BE tournament performance in NY.
Warrior in the class of 2011.

By the way, I did not see the St. Johns game with us. Who was guarding Hardy--or was it nobody?
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Wade for President

Ben Hansbourgh has to get serious consideration.  Ashton Gibbs has had a great year (even though he missed some league games).

Along with Walker, Hardy, Gibbs, and Hansbrough, one cannot forget Austin Freeman nor Corey Stokes either.

One player I have yet to hear discussed but I think should be considered is Rick Jackson.  Yes, he only averages 13 points per game but the guy is pretty dominant defensively (2.4 bpg), averages over 11 boards per game, shoots over 57% from the field, plays 35 mpg which isn't easy for a big man.
