realtime RPI updated yesterday

http://www.realtimerpi.com/rpi_222_Men.html

Thanks to UWM's seven game win streak, their RPI move to 99, breaking a 100 and qualifying as a "quality" road win for us.  So we now have a big "$" next to UWM on our schedule.

We are now a lock for the tourney!!!!

(some bad news is Rutgers RPI is 102.  We need them to win again to get back under a 100 to put them back on the quality road win ledger.)

Our expected RPI is now down to 70.3....only two schools in history have received an at large bid at that level.

How many of those teams had an RPI that low in a 68 team field?  Thought so

Good point!  Three extra teams this year and a weak ACC and B12 and only two probably coming from the PAC10 suggests a 70 to 75 RPI is getting invited.

None.  I'm sure you realize, however, that every year there are teams left out in the 40's, 50's and 60's.  With only 3 additional spots, I expect those spots to go to those types of teams.

We need to get that RPI moving in the right direction

Scanning through realtime rpi,  the teams in the 40's-60's ahead of us while not bad have not had to play as tough of a conference schedule if they are in a major conference.  The bulk of the mid-majors in that group for the most part I do not see them getting an at large if they do not win their conference tournament.  (there are 3 horizon league teams in that group, cleveland state, butler and valpo)  I am pretty sure even though I have my glasses on and koolaid cup full this morning that there is still a pretty darn good chance it happens
