LOL

Not sure if the Brew Bayou is still around or not. I was down in that area a couple weeks back, but the girlfriend didn't want coffee, so I didn't walk to that side of the AMU. But I planned on getting down there this weekend, I'll try to remember to check ;)

Don't forget to boo!   ;)
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I never booed the team while I was there during the Mike Deane era, mostly because I expected a crappy effort and rarely stayed until the end.  I usually went because I could get free tickets and have a few beers. I knew a few of the players and thought they were nice guys.

Last year I went to a game and was seeing tickets 10 rows from the top going on stub hub at $75 per.  I've been to recent road games where MU fans nearly outnumbered the home fans.  I just cancelled dinner with my mother because I realized it conflicted with the Providence game.  Providence.  I have maybe 10 Marquette shirts and my wife could tell you our rotation (despite having no connection to the school).  I read every day about 18 yr. old kids who are 1000 miles away from me and have no idea who I am.  I have given a not insignificant amount of money to the University.

I wouldn't boo them in person, but I was pissed off at the second half effort against St. John's and I was pissed at the letdown at Louisville.  The second half collapses are predictable and becoming more pronounced.  I have no issue with them being aware that fans are unhappy with the effort.  I played in high school and have heard boo birds at that level - way below high major D1 ball.  If DG or anyone else has an issue with that they should play at a place like UWM where nobody pays attention.

And please stop with comments about how Jimmy Butler doesn't show up at my office to boo me when I spill my coffee.  That is idiotic. He is a celebrity and will always be under more scrutiny than a regular schmuck.  Besides, he is welcome to show up at my office anytime.  There.

And speaking of Providence, they are getting booed at home right now.
