The guy hooks his man with his arm on every drive.  On one of the last possessions of ND-Rutgers he hooked his man and the refs called a foul on the Rutgers defender.  Horrible!

He plays with a John Stockton-esque level of  dirtbaggery.  Can't wait for that team to get upset in the second round of the BET or NCAA tournament.

Rutgers really got the short end of that call.

He did it on almost everyone of his drives to the hoop against MU in South Bend. It was so blatantly obvious, I was sitting in stunned disbelief he never got called for it the whole night.

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Easily the most annoying player in the BE. He makes his brother likeable

Yeah, did anyone catch the attempted trip of Crowder in Milwaukee?  On the replay you see Crowder go by and he tries to trip him.  He definitely has that "anything to win" mentality.  Great if you plays for you but not so likeable for opponents.

I normally respect a guy like that, but when I read that he stood two feet from our team huddle and stared with his arms crossed in South Bend I lost all respect for him.  He's a dbag.

Ball Hog Hansbrough as well.  Abro has gone from 16.1 per BE game scoring to 11.9, while Ben has gone from 12.6 to 18.7. The kid is tough--give him his props--but he is all right handed with the handle on that hook move.

I would take that cat on our team any day of the week.

Exactly. I'm not sure how anyone could get mad at a Senior playing out of their mind. Its nice to see that sense of urgency.

We saw it last season in our backcourt. I'll be looking for that from our guys starting Wednesday as the time to step up is running out.

People can hate on him all they want, but if he's playing the point for MU we're a top 10 team.

If his brother was playing for MU, they'd be a top 10 team. If Ben was playing for MU, they'd likely have one more victory (at ND, of course).

My complaint in the opening post was more to do with the officials and not the player.  I think a lot of players would hook too on every drive if they could get away with it.  He happens to be very good at concealing it.  Shouldn't opposing coaches tip off the officials as to what they see on film and have them monitor the perpetual cheating behavior throughout the course of the game?

In the Rutgers game, he basically fouled the guy in a one possession game with like 30 seconds left and the official called a foul on the Rutgers player.  That, to me, was the difference in the game.

A very traditional move
