ND/DePaul
« on: February 03, 2011, 08:15:39 PM »
When we play DePaul, the crowd makes it a home game for us.

It's early in the game and their is a ND presence but it does not sound like home game for ND.

You would think ND fans would make a better showing, especially consider they are top 10 this week and coming off the Pitt win.

I know we would.

I was watching at a tiki bar last night (mentally preparing this south florida area for the MU game) with no sound and it looked to me like there was plenty of ND fans there.  Especially when they showed close up's of the crowd.  Whenever we were at the Rosemont they would stick a huge group of our students in the upper deck.  I'm sure they did the same to ND.

Don't forget that people were still digging out. That was an awful performance from DePaul.

The announcers said it was a big ND crowd. Even said lots of students made the trip from South Bend.

Given the poor conditions in both IL and IN, the fan turnout from ND was impressive.

And ND took care of business.  Once they built a decent lead, they never let DePaul even get an idea of a close game.

Don't forget that people were still digging out. That was an awful normal performance from DePaul.

Fixed it for you

My comment was made at the beginning of the game when it was still close.  At that point, it sounded like 60/40 Depaul.

When DePaul was down by 30, you could have probably gotten a louder MU cheer than DePaul at the game last night!
