AP has MU with 23 votes.   This ranks us 32 in their poll this week.

USA/Coaches have us with 2 votes and further down the list.

Overall (AP) 8 BE teams ranked this week and Cincy and MU getting votes (no love for St. Johns even though they just destroyed Duke yesterday).

So, if we beat 'nova (again "if") will be be ranked next week?  I say yes.

I'm not worried about the ranking, but IF we beat Nova that will basically lock us into the big dance barring a terrible collapse. We are steadily rising each week by just going 1-1 a top 10 road win will all but seal the deal.

We have already played numbers 4, 5, 6, 9 (twice), 15, 17, 19, 23 and 25 in the current AP top 25, and still have games against 6, 12 and 13 left.  That's a pretty good schedule.

Going 2-0 this week will not get us ranked.   And don't worry about it.   11-7 is a lock.   With what is going around the rest of college basketball, 10-8 is a near lock.   Especially if we win 1-2 in NYC.
