Why doesn't Riley play?  We've been watching for him for two years and have not seen him play.  Has he been injured or red-shirted?

Injured this year.

Bad last year.

Here are Riley's stats

He was absolutely terrible last year.

Based on these numbers, he would be behind Devante if he came to MU.

I remember seeing Riley get in a game last year.  He made EWill look like an all conference player.

Actually, Riley played VERY well in the NCAAs.  Looked like a very promising player.  took a while for Boeheim to get into his head.  Next year with Melo, Keita and riley, 'Cuse is going to very formidable again.

In 3  NCAA games (32 total minutes), Riley had 0 points and 2 rebounds.

The only reason he saw the court was because of Onuaku's injury.

Next year they add Rakeem Christmas (#11 overall, #1 C) into that big man mix. I doubt Riley sees many minutes next year.

Riley would be getting serious playing time at MU - makes no sense.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Riley had a huge impact on one of those games. though maybe not statistically.  As far as th injury, well thats how many guys get their oppotunity.  Adding Christmas to the mix really re-inforces how strong 'Cuse will be inside.  even yesterday, Melo and Keita improved as the game went along with Melo getting more minutes than normal.  Just wish MU could get one of these guys.

Why because he is 7 feet tall and we need bigs?

News flash, we have a 6' 11" player that is better than Riley Now (even if he was not injured).
We had the tallest player in the BE last year that played about as well as Riley last year.  He left and no one misses him.

Riley is like the backup QB ... the guy that has a lot of promise but never plays because ... he sucks.

Then, why did we recruit the sucker in the first place?
