The White Jerseys Are Damn Near Perfect

I am working on figuring out the records of each colored jersey during the time we've had them.  You may be interested to know going back to the 2008-2009 season, we are 31-1 in them and 11-0 in conference games.

Thhe one loss was last year to N.C. State.

Retire the Gold unis.  Forgive me for saying this, but they are as hideous as Syracuse's orange unis! 

I love the whites, blues, and baby blues.  Isn't 3 enough?

The stats on record in the various jerseys is kinda interesting, but has to be considered with some of these facts:
1) the whites are worn for all of the home cupcake games
2) the baby blues are only worn on the road for big national tv games, always against tough teams
3) the golds are generally worn for big games against tough teams (usually home or neutral court)
4) the navys are never worn at home

We lost in whites vs. G'Town in the OT game when DJ fouled the guy at the end of regulation on the 3.

+1 The gold unis are ugly and serve as a reminder of that horrible time in our history when we buried the Warriors forever and almost became the (ugh) Gold.

Can't ditch the gold--the team's colors are gold and blue. The crowd is always a sea of gold, so they oughta wear them sometimes (preferably against bad teams i.e. ND).

Marquette is known to have and change unis a lot. Make them add the alternative. I personally would LOVE them to wear a white final four jersey at home once a year for a big game. That would be saahweet.

Also I love all four unis.. Kinda wish we wore the white a little more and kept gold for BIG games, and not ALL Nuetral, big east tourny, NCAA home games.

I don't hate the gold ones as some do, but i'd rank them near the bottom.

That said, i think that overall Marquette has some of the best combination's of uniforms in the country. Of course recruits pick a university mainly because of stuff like the coaching staff, style of play, tradition, and the conference a team plays in, but i do think kids do like to look good in their uniforms so our sweet look is an added perk.

Are we getting new uniforms next year?  When we signed with Jordan Brand they said that it would take a year or two to work out our uniforms, has that time already passed with minimal changes to our unis?

I believe that they just put the jumpman on the current design.  I recall Buzz mentioning that they had an initial meet with the Nike design people this past fall.

No.  I would like to second the fact that the uni data is A BIT cherry-picked.  We usually wear the golds for our tougher home/road opponents, and the baby blues for tough road games.  I like it as it is, 4 unis, rocking the checkers on the sides, with the school colors.  No black bulls***.  I guess I wouldn't mind the bumblebees as a 1 game throwback type thing, but I doubt the NCAA would allow it.  Didn't they ban those unis?

I personally don't want a change, but whatever happens, it will grow on me.

I kind of don't care what color we wear.  Just as long as we're playing. 
But - Navy, Baby Blues, Gold, White.  The whites are just too plain.
