Saw this in paper this morning and could not believe.

Depaul has lost 43 of it's last 44 BE games.  Of course the only win was their MU victory, but my god that is terrible.  With their current lineup, they may lose their remaining 11 games this year.  The BE won't do a "Temple" on them, would they?

Did you know that our 40 point win earlier this week was the most one-sided game in our 100+ game series with them?

And to your question ... no because they hired Oliver Purnell.  In fact, that is why they hired Oliver.  The BE will give them at least a few more years to see what Oliver does.

If Purnell bombs out then I think DePaul has to show the BE they have a plan to stop being a doormat or they get the boot.

i was at the pitt v depaul game yesterday (a friend gave me his faculty tickets).  just to put a more pathetic point on your post, people around me were still talking about the win over mu last year.  it is the one thing they have to hang on to.

We only beat them by 30, though we did have a 38-point lead at one point.

That's why I want DePaul to win a Big East game, to get that monkey off our back.
If we are all thinking alike, we're not thinking at all. It's OK to disagree. Just don't be disagreeable.

Rutgers, USF, and Providence need to look out...

DePaul WILL win one BE game this year.
